...brings rain and falling leaves; jackets and umbrellas out from hiding. layers, scarves, arm-warmers and wellies. Nuca on the ground along with acorns, sticks, puddles, and chestnuts. Children walking to and from school, outdoor cafes closing, flowers blooming their last, sandals being put away. Tea times, cozy nights, blankets, slippers and sweaters. Sunsets bringing the night quicker, darker early mornings. Less kids at the park, fields cleared and harvested, tractors out and about, hay bales dotting the land. Gypsy wagons returning from summer traveling, others filled with cut trees. Apples now in season, tomatoes ending theirs. The excitement of the change, the refreshment of the crisp breeze, the beauty and the colors!
I love the changing of seasons...my spirit longs for it and what it holds in life and creation! How amazing, wonderful, creative and lovely is the maker of it all.
